Water Fitness Classes
The aquatics area offers a number of different kinds of water fitness classes that are included in your YWCA membership. The classes are listed below with times and descriptions.
Arthritis Foundation
Workout Intensity: Very Light
Days: Monday thru Friday
Time: 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM
Location: Water Park Lanes
Participants will engage in gentle stretches and range of motion exercises to keep tender joints mobile. The buoyancy of the water assists movements, while the resistance strengthens muscles that support joints. This class is sanctioned by the Arthritis Foundation and taught by certified instructors
Arthritis Plus
Workout Intensity: Light-Medium
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Time: 5:45 PM - 6:30 PM
Location: Water Park Lanes
This class is more active than the basie Arthritis Foundation class. Participants will engage in stretches and range of motion exercises to keep tender joints mobile. The buoyancy of the water assists movements, while the resistance strengthens muscles that support joints. This class is sanctioned by the Arthritis Foundation and taught by certified instructors.
Silver Splash
Workout Intensity: Light-Medium
Days: Monday thru Saturday
Time: 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
Location: Competition Pool
This high energy class is a great mid-morning workout! A favorite among our members, you're not going to want to miss this! We focus on a cardio-workout with a mix of strength training and fun.

A cardio focused workout that uses motion and water resistance to improve flexibility and stamina. This workout is a great way to get started each day..
Total Body
Workout Intensity: Medium
Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Time: 12:00-12:45pm and 11:30-2pm
Location: Water Park Lanes
Total body is a class full of exercises that work the entire body. Participants work on stretching, toning, and cardio throughout the class.
Total Body Plus
Workout Intensity: Medium
Days: Monday and Wednesday
Time: 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM
Location: Competition Pool
Total Body Plus is a step up from the Total Body class, focusing more on the cardio aspect of the workout. The class allows the cardio to strengthen the body and build endurance. A favorite among our members, you don't want to miss.
Deep Water
Workout Intensity: Light-Medium
Mornings: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 7-7:45am
Afternoons: Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 12:15 PM - 12:45 PM
Location: Competition Pool - Deep End
Deep Water is a challenging class that takes place in our 7 ft section. This class is a non-impact exercise program that is sure to give your body an intense all-over workout.
Deep Water Plus
Workout Intensity: Medium
Mornings: Monday thru Friday
Time: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Evenings: Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM
Location: Competition Pool
Deep Water Plus is a challenging class that takes place in our 7 ft section. This class places more emphasis on a cardio and is sure to give your body an intense all-over workout.
H2O Yoga
Workout Intensity: Very Light
Mornings: Friday
Time: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Location: Water Park Lanes
H2O Yoga is a very relaxing and stress relief class that targets flexibility, core stability and strength.
